Because behind that rather impressive title is a small South African business, a whole lot of passion, countless hours of experimentation and a genuine obsession with creating something exceptional.

From a Simple Idea to an Award-Winning Brand

Simply Wicked Candles started with a simple question:

Why shouldn’t pet owners be able to enjoy beautiful luxury home fragrance while keeping their furry family members in mind?

Our pets are part of our families. They share our homes, our couches, our bedrooms and let’s be honest, sometimes they own the furniture!

So we wanted to create beautiful fragrances with a pet-friendly philosophy at the heart of the brand.

What started as an idea grew into a passion for creating handcrafted candles that look as good as they smell.

We’re proud to handcraft our candles right here in South Africa using premium triple-refined C3 soy wax and carefully selected fragrances.

We don’t believe luxury has to mean mass-produced or inaccessible.

Every Simply Wicked Candle is made with attention to detail because we believe the little things matter, from the wax and fragrance to the presentation and the experience when you finally light that wick.

Our goal has always been simple:

Create something we’re proud to put in our own homes, and something our customers will be proud to give as a gift or keep entirely for themselves.

For us, being pet friendly isn’t simply something to put on a label.
